The way to your online dating photos

1. Book photoshoot

Book your online dating photo shoot now and choose the date yourself. The online booking must be made 24 hours before the appointment.

2. Preparation

What is absolutely advantageous: Come with different outfits to change and try out. Choose clothes you feel comfortable in. Do you need to go to the hairdresser or make-up artist before the photo shoot? This can also be an advantage, but is of course not a must. Would you like to be professionally styled for the singles photo shoot? Let us know when you book, we have a professional make-up artist in the team who will take care of your look.

3. The Photoshoot

We use the first few minutes of the shoot to chat a little. It's important for us to know a bit about you, what your personality is like and how we can best showcase it. We also discuss the outfits and photo ideas and go into detail about your wishes and ideas for the single photos. During the shoot, we communicate actively and you receive instructions from us regarding facial expressions and posture. We take photos in different poses and settings so that we have a comprehensive set to choose from.

4. Photo selection

You select the photos from the comfort of your own home. After the shoot, we will make your best photos available in an online gallery and you simply send us your selection. The selected photos will be professionally edited and enhanced by us.

5. The payment

Payment is made after the photo shoot. Payment can be made in cash or contactless via Maestro Card / Visa / ApplePay. If you are not yet sure how many photos you want, we will be happy to issue you with an invoice after you have selected the photos.

6. Delivery

We usually send the digital single photos no later than one week after you have selected the photos. You will receive the edited and optimized photos by e-mail as a download link. The photos are supplied in two versions: one in high print resolution and one for use on the web.

How does a shoot at Martin Jordan Photography work?

After making an appointment, we will take enough time for the shoot and discuss the photos/motifs/wishes with you, how you imagine the photos and how they suit you. We ask you to think about the pictures in advance of the shoot.

We use the first few minutes of the shoot to get to know each other a little. As photographers, it's very important for us to know a little about you, as we want to capture a lot of emotions and so a good rapport with you is an advantage. Before the shoot, we discuss the outfits and go into detail about your wishes and ideas. Good communication is also important to us during the shoot, so together we try to realize your photo wishes professionally.

After the photo shoot, you will receive a selection of the best pictures in an online gallery and you can view and select your pictures from the comfort of your own home. We will make the selected photos available to you digitally via download.

What should I wear to the photo shoot?

It is important that you are yourself in the photos. So choose the outfits that you love and feel comfortable in.
Bring a light and a dark outfit, so we have lots of options for different looks
Be careful with black outfits. There is basically nothing wrong with black, but large black items of clothing can create too much of a contrast with a light-colored scalp, for example.
Avoid gaudy and overly bright colors as well as very shiny clothing.
For a online dating photo shoot, it is advisable to pay attention to clothes with monotonous colors, which are easily visible on the irregular background.
Accessories such as hats, necklaces, glasses and scarves can really spice up pictures, so bring lots of these items to the photo shoot!

Where does the dating photo shoot take place?

We take the photos outdoors in a park or in an urban environment in Vienna. We'll decide exactly where together when you book the shoot.

Do you live outside Vienna and want us to take online dating photos for you? No problem, we will make you a suitable offer depending on the distance.

What should I bring to the shoot?

It is important that you come relaxed and in a good mood. The online dating shoot can be quite strenuous, so you might want to bring something to drink if we are going to be outdoors for a longer period of time. Please check the weather forecast and bring appropriate clothing.

Will my photos be posted on the Internet?

No! As a matter of principle, we do not publish any pictures on the Internet without the consent of our customers. If we are particularly satisfied with the portraits from the shoot, we will of course ask and show our appreciation.

Can I take other people with me to the shoot?

Basically very happy. However, the person should know how long the photo shoot will take. Not everyone is happy to be passive and wait for up to 4 hours. However, especially outdoors, it can often be useful to have someone with you to hold accessories or to store the change of outfits during the shoot.

I have blemishes on my face, will they be retouched?

Naturally! Every photo you choose after the shoot is professionally retouched. Skin blemishes, scratches, dark circles, etc. are removed or toned down. In addition, the photos are optimized in the image section, the look and with effects.

How do I know which poses to do?

Many people have never done a photo shoot before and naturally don't know which poses are good and come across well in the photos. It's always good to look at some other photos before the shoot to get an idea of what might look good. During the shoot, we will definitely help you to find the right pose.
